Santana's Cabrio is a triplet that can be transformed into a tandem by simply removing the center section of the frame. Thanks to its strategically-placed frame couplers, the resulting tandem or triplet can be stowed into one or two suitcases that will travel through airports unnoticed.

• Shimano’s XT rear derailleur is lighter, stronger, and handles a wider range of ratios than the Ultegra changers found on other tandems
• Forged aluminum crankarms are mounted to a tandem version of Shimano’s pipe-splined bottom brackets for reduced weight and improved power
• Triple pinned-and-ramped chainrings with a larger outer ring are hard anodized to speed shifts and reduce wear
• 48° wheelsets are dishless for greater strength and reliability (see Wheel Technology)
